ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE PULONG BAYAN AND CHRISTMAS GET-TOGETHER FOR THE FILIPINO COMMUNITY ON 18 DECEMBER 2016 The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw is pleased to invite members of the Filipino community in Poland to the last Pulongbayan of the year and the Christmas get-together for the Filipino community to be held on Sunday, 18 December 2016 at the Consular Hall of the Embassy. Please be informed that the event will start with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 11:00 AM, followed by presentations on Gender Sensitivity and on the Continuing Registration of Overseas Filipinos for the 2019 National Elections. After the presentations, lunch will be served and the Christmas get-together for the Filipino community will start. Those who wish to participate in the exchange gift during the Christmas get-together are advised to bring a gift with a minimum cost of 50 PLN. People's Jury of the 10th Five Flavours awarded the main prize of the festival, 2,500 EUR, to "Apocalypse Child" by Mario Cornejo and Monster Jimenez. The Special Mention went to "Ordinary People" by Eduardo Roy Jr, also from the Philippines. The NETPAC Jury awarded "Tharlo" by Pema Tsenden. The Main Award, 2,500 EUR, was founded by the Director of the Polish Film Institute, Magdalena Sroka. Ar de la Serna will represent the Philippines in the first every Mister Supranational 2016 which will be held in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland on 3rd December. He got the Mister Supranational Philippines during the last Misters of Filipinas 2016 pageant where he represented Bohol. He is 22 years old, stand 6'11"-tall and a BSBA graduate at the Holy Name University in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
