Pamaskong Handog para sa Marawi

Pamaskong Handog para sa Marawi : a fundraising event in support of Bangon Marawi The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw invites the Filipino community to the fundraising event “Pamaskong Handog para sa Marawi” in support of Bangon Marawi, the government’s rehabilitation efforts in Marawi City to be held on Sunday, 10 December 2017, from 12:00 p.m., at the Consular Hall. The event will feature a short film showing and presentation on the current situation in Marawi. A simple salu-salo will take place thereafter. Prior to the event, a Thanksgiving Mass will be held from 11:00 a.m . Those who wish to attend the event are requested to send their confirmation by email to pe.warsaw@gmail.com not later than Friday morning, 08 December 2017. In the spirit of the season, the Philippine Embassy encourages Filipinos in Poland to share their blessings and help our brethren in Marawi City rebuild their communities and their lives. Forum on Rights and Obligations of Foreign Workers in Poland

The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw invites Filipinos working in Poland to a forum to be held on Sunday, 26 February 2017, 11:00 a.m. The forum will tackle the rights of foreigners, specifically third-country nationals, working in Poland and their obligations as provided for in the Polish Labor Code. A Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the forum Interested participants are requested to register via email pe.warsaw@gmail.com or by calling 22-4902025 on or before 20 February 2017. Paanyaya para sa Pulongbayan sa Embahada sa ika-26 ng Pebrero 2017 Inaanyayahan ang mga Pilipino na nagtatrabaho sa Poland sa isang Pulongbayan na gaganapin sa Embahada sa Linggo, ika-26 ng Pebrero, 11:00 ng umaga. Tatalakayin sa pulongbayan kung ano ang karapatan ng mga nagtatrabaho sa Poland ayon sa Labor Code at kung ano naman ang mga obligasyon ng bawat isa ayon na rin sa batas na ito. Pulong-Bayan (February/Pebrero 2017)

From Phil Embassy in Warsaw (ul. Lenzta 11) ... Advisory : Please be informed that the Pulongbayan on" Rights and Obligations of Foreign Workers" scheduled on Sunday, 26 February 2017, will start at 11:00 AM(instead of 10:00 AM). The resource speakers for the Pulongbayan will come from the National Labour Inspectorate. Invitations/Zaproszenie

An official invitation could be used to demonstrate sufficient recources to sustain oneself in Poland and cover the costs of return. A foreigner should have an invitation when crossing the border. Attention: An invitation does not exempt a foreigner from the necessity of filing a visa application. The inviting entity must file an invitation with the pertinent voivode . The locations of voivodeship offices can be found here Who can invite a foreigner? A Polish citizen residing in Poland; The citizen of another EU state, Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein or Switzerland with the right to reside in Poland. Any other foreigner who has been continuously residing in Poland for at least five years or has a permit to settlr or long-term EU residency permit; A legal entity, e.g. company, diplomatic mission etc.  The inviting parties may be summoned for an interview with the visa processing authorities, if need be.
