WYD 2016 Visa Application Requirements

MFA Poland launches temporary visa points for WYD participants

From 4 May, pilgrims can apply for visas at the consular office in Manila, the Philippines. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to open three visa-issuing points in countries with no Polish consular posts and with anticipated high numbers of WYD 2016 participants. They are located in Quito (Ecuador), Manila (the Philippines) and Santo Domingo (the Dominican Republic). The temporary visa points will be open from 4 May until 18 July (Manila and Quito) and 11 May until 19 July (Santo Domingo). In other countries where Poland does not have consular representation, visas will be issued by consular posts of the Schengen states with which Poland has signed permanent representation agreements, i.e. the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the countries which Poland has asked for consular assistance in WYD preparations: France, Germany, Belgium, Norway, Portugal and Italy.
