Information Saturday (March) - Office of Foreigner's in Warsaw

Office for Foreigners started a series of meetings aimed at providing information on the legalization of stay. Next information Saturday will be held on March 25 from 9 - 15 at their Head office in Warsaw at Taborowa 33. During information Saturdays, foreigners will be able to obtain information on their proceedings at the office, view case files, pick the letters and summons or make statements for the record. Advice will be provided by experts from the Department of Legalization of Stay. In order to arrange individual consultations (information on a specific case, review of files) it is necessary to book in advance by calling 47 721 76 75. In other cases, reservations are not necessary. Submit your annual tax declaration (PIT)

Each year between February and April 30th, all employees who have worked in Poland in the previous year, have to submit their annual Personal Income Tax declarations (PIT) to the fiscal authorities. Currently, it’s time to submit your PIT for the year 2022. There are various PIT forms marked with different numbers but the most common form is PIT-37 for employees who do not run their own business and did not have any income from other countries in 2020. Detailed information on taxes is published in English on podatki.gov.pl The most convenient way of submitting your PIT is on-line via e-Urząd Skarbowy  (eng. e-Tax Office) – the official government platform. The system is available now both in Polish and in English. The mobility of the student means the right of a foreigner to enter and to stay in the territory of the European Union for the purpose of studies, resulting from the possession of a valid residence permit or long-term visa issued for the above-mentioned purpose by a Member State other then the one in which the foreigner would be entitled to use this right.
