New POEA System For Balik-Manggagawa – The Balik-Manggagawa online system will be replaced by a new web-based processing system POEA Online Processing System For Balik-Manggagawa (POPS-BaM). In an advisory effective today June 30, 2021, it was said that this change is a part of POEA continues effort to accelerate the process of issuing Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC)to returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). The new POPS-BaM system will include the overall functionality of the present Balik-Manggagawa (BM) system and will be transferred to the new system. The previous BM online was deactivated since June 30. POPS-BAM WILL COVER ALL BALIK-MANGGAGAWA AS BELOW: Returning documented OFW Undocumented workers, or workers not previously registered with the POEA and workers with no existing record of deployment with the POEA or POLO Workers who changed employment/employer, on site – including workers who transferred or entered into a new employment contract from employer
