In order to recruit Filipinos for work overseas, a foreign principal/employer must first apply for accreditation and submit its job order for approval by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), the Philippine government authority that accredits foreign employers/principals, approves job orders and monitors the deployment of Filipinos for work overseas. The trade ban is the law forbidding trade on Sundays. The law was introduced by leading trade union Solidarity which wants employees to be able to rest and spend time with their families and enjoy cultural life. The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC, Polish Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy, WOŚP) is one of the biggest, non-governmental, non-profit, charity organizations in Poland.
