Published Oct 2017 A new information brochure for foreigners. The publication explains in an accessible way the rules governing foreign nationals’ education and work in Poland and offers tips how to combine the two activities together. The brochure also describes the procedures for obtaining a work permit and a residence permit to perform work subject to changes that took effect last January 2018. A section of the brochure is devoted to employees’ right such as the right to an annual and parental leave or the rules of overtime work. The brochure includes a sample pre-trial notice for the payment of the unpaid salary as this is the most frequent problem reported by foreigners working in Poland.
