Education and work of foreigners in Poland

A new information brochure for foreigners. The publication explains in an accessible way the rules governing foreign nationals’ education and work in Poland and offers tips how to combine the two activities together.

The brochure also describes the procedures for obtaining a work permit and a residence permit to perform work subject to changes that took effect last January 2018. A section of the brochure is devoted to employees’ right such as the right to an annual and parental leave or the rules of overtime work. The brochure includes a sample pre-trial notice for the payment of the unpaid salary as this is the most frequent problem reported by foreigners working in Poland.

Flour types in Poland

Flour type, according to Polish food regulations, means the content of ashes in it (i.e. the remains after complete burning of the organic ingredients in a sample of the product at a determined temperature). Ii is expressed in gramms/100 kg of flour. For example: type 500 means that in every 100 kg of flour there's around 500 g of ashes, and type 850 means that in every 100 kg the content of ashes is around 850 g. Police clearance certificate in Poland

The certificate is issued by the Information State Bureau of Criminal Register of the Ministry of Justice of Poland. The certificated may be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
