Online Status Verification For Overseas Filipino Voters

Online status verification of one's registration record is possible with the use of the Precinct Finder / Post Finder facility in the Comelec website. It gives a person the capability to verify the status of his status online --- whether registered or not, whether active or not, whether with biometrics or none.

In the old days

Before the availability of this facility in the COMELEC Website, a registered voter has to personally visit or call the local COMELEC office for any inquiry regarding the status of his (or her) registration record.

Voter information that can be provided online

Nowadays, this personal visit or call to the local COMELEC office is no longer mandatory if your question is as simple as:

Am I already registered?
What is the status of my registration record?
Does my record have biometrics data?
What is my precinct number?
Where is my polling center?

These are questions that may already be answered without leaving the comforts of your home or from anywhere you please, as long as you have Internet access.

Although you may still need to really go personally to your local COMELEC office for some other matters (to get your voter ID card, for example; or to file your application or to update your record), verifying here first can save you some time and help you make sure if the trip is worth taking.

Registration Centers

Applications for overseas registration may be filed with the Philippine embassy, consulate or other foreign service establishment that has been authorized by the COMELEC.

Registration Schedule

The deadline for registration as overseas voters is also on 31 October 2015, the same as the deadline for local voter registration.

iRehistro

All applicants for overseas voter registration are also provided with their own version of iRehistro, all of whom are given the option to set their appointments online.

Post Finder

As with iRehistro, overseas voters also have their own version of Precinct Finder to verify the status of their voter registration. This online facility is aptly called Post Finder.
