If you always struggle to find the time for your language practice, Drops is the very app you are looking for. All you need to do is devote 5 minutes a day to learn several new words in Polish. The idea is brilliant in its simplicity - thanks to its crazy time limit, you are more likely to keep your motivation up and practise new words every day. Learn Polish from FunEasyLearn is probably one of the most varied and comprehensive apps, dedicated to those learners who are just beginning their adventure with Polish. Although the app offers only vocabulary exercises, it is unlikely you will get bored easily – all new words can be practised in a variety of ways – through listening, writing, speaking or image-based activities.

5. Quizlet


Quizlet is another popular flashcard application, which gives you access to innumerable study sets created by users. The app allows you to memorise words in a traditional way or to test your knowledge - and challenge your friends - in quizzes, which are based on your study material. Quizlet also has a website version, where you can find more language-based games.

6. Memrise


Although Memrise tends to be compared to Duolingo, both apps offer different learning approaches. Memrise focuses mostly on vocabulary and fixed expressions, presented in the form of wordlists with images (or memes) which help memorise all the items. The app is a great learning aid, employing a set of mnemonic techniques that not only foster the learning process, but also make retaining the new vocabulary much easier.

7. Clozemaster


This app will make you feel like you went back in time – but in a good way. Clozemaster’s design resembles that of an old-school game and the app itself can get almost just as much addictive. Contrary to most language-learning applications, Clozemaster focuses solely on teaching vocabulary in context: in order to score points and win the game, you need to complete a series of cloze phrases.

Flour types in Poland

Flour type, according to Polish food regulations, means the content of ashes in it (i.e. the remains after complete burning of the organic ingredients in a sample of the product at a determined temperature). Ii is expressed in gramms/100 kg of flour.
