POEA - Travel agencies not allowed to recruit overseas workers

- The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) warned overseas job applicants anew to avoid travel agencies illegally recruiting Filipino workers for overseas employment.

- Travel agencies offering overseas jobs are considered illegal recruiters because they have no license to do so. Job applicants should always make sure they are dealing with a legitimate recruiter with job orders approved by the POEA

- As part of their modus, the said travel agencies present dubious certificates of registration from the Department of Trade and Industry, which even if valid is not licensed by the POEA to engaged in recruitment activities.

The POEA urges the public to disregard unsolicited job offers made by travel agencies, consultancy firms and training centers, as well as report this kind of illegal recruitment schemes and activities to POEA Operations and Surveillance Division by sending an email at poea_airb_osd@yahoo.com or contact the numbers 8722-1192/8568-0786

Flour types in Poland
