OWWA E-Card and Membership

Some Active OWWA members may claim their OFW e-Cards at the Philippine Embassy in Warsaw beginning on 15 November 2021.
** pm me (thru facebook) so I can check the list if your name is included
** these are those who applied for ecard bef mid Sept 2021

Then you are requested to inform the Embassy in advance during office hours at +48 694 491 664 when they intend to claim their OFW e-Cards without need for any appointment.

OFWs whose membership have expired or are not yet OWWA members may enrol/renew their membership thru https://membership.owwa.gov.ph then wait for further announcements on the release of their e-Cards.

At its first phase of implementation, the e-Card's initial functions include
  • easy access to OWWA Programs and Services;
  • automated verification of membership records;
  • faster processing time;
  • counterpart Digital OFW e-Card in the OWWA Mobile App;
  • and serves as a government-issued Identity Card for transactions with government agencies.

What is OFW Insurance? According to the Republic Act No. 8042 , otherwise known as the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1955, as amended, all migrant workers must be covered by compulsory insurance policy when they work abroad. This law protects the overseas Filipinos and migrant workers and provides adequate and timely social, economic and legal services, protection to labor, and promotes full and equal employment opportunities. Police clearance certificate in Poland

The certificate is issued by the Information State Bureau of Criminal Register of the Ministry of Justice of Poland. The certificated may be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
