Based in Poland, Cristina Bien has made her way to reaching her dreams even away from her home country. However, her musical journey began in the Philippines back in the 1980s, with a background in "Concervatoire musique et théatre" at the Metropolitan School of Music in Manila and in Acting/Directing at the CCP Cultural Centre of the Philippines.

Cristina's professional experiences are based both locally and abroad. In 1985, she was part of the "Hatid Saya" Asian Tour and was best Filipino artist selected from the CCP Cultural Centre of the Philippines to form a musical group followed by an Asian tour. In the years following that, she was the lead vocalist of a Filipino band and member of a variety show band that toured in Asia and the Middle East, and also became a singer in a piano bar in the Philippines. In the early 1990s, she was lead vocalist of the British Scratch Band, which toured in the Middle East, Dubai, Oman and the Philippines.

Moving out of the band circuit, Cristina became a solo singer from 1994 to 2006, performing for functions and galas, mostly in Cambodia, Thailand, China, France, Poland and the Philippines. In April 2006, she finished 1st place in the Music Media contest in Aix en Provence, France, with the song "Broken Vow" written and interpretted by Josh Groban and Lara Fabian. In July, she was part of the Przystanek Woodstock Music festival in Kostryń Nad Odrą, Poland as a back up singer for Justyna Steczkowska, and in August, she finished at 2nd place in the contest Idee Hall in Avignon, France.

The Filipina singer 's skills are not limited to her singing. She is also multilingual, competent in English, Filipino, French, Thai and Polish. Her interpretations are likewise as varied. She can sing French and Polish songs, as well as Filipino, Japanis, Arabic and Spanish. With her smooth jazzy vibe, Cristina's talent can surely get her even farther than she has come.

Flour types in Poland
