The Euro trophy is making a two-day visit to Warsaw, which means you can get up close (and get a picture with) the trophy from 10:00 - 20:00 Friday (20 April) and Saturday (21 April) at Pl. Defilad. There will also be a parade tomorrow with the trophy and Euro mascots starting at 12.45 that will go along Aleje Jerozolimskie, Nowy Świat, Krakowskie Przedmieście, Królewska, Marszałkowska and back to Pl. Defilad. If you're not sure where to go, head for the big balloon.
The “UEFA EURO 2012 Follow the Trophy” tour will visit 14 cities in total, including the eight host cities, starting with the Polish capital Warsaw on 20 April 2012. The first day in each of the host cities will see the trophy travel around town in a parade before reaching the location where the trophy will be displayed in public for an additional two days.
International and local football stars and celebrities, including UEFA EURO 2012 Ambassadors Andrzej Szarmach and Zbigniew Boniek, will participate in the events and will notably be available for autograph and photo sessions.
