Thy Womb (Tagalog: Sinapupunan) is a 2012 Filipino drama film starring Nora Aunor, Bembol Roco, Mercedes Cabral, and Lovi Poe.Produced by Center Stage Productions and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the film is written by Henry Burgos and directed by 2009 Cannes Film Festival Best Director Brillante Mendoza. The film competed for the Golden Lion at the 69th Venice International Film Festival. Although it did not bag the top honors, Thy Womb won three special prizes in the festival — La Navicella Venezia Cinema Award, the P. Nazareno Taddei Award - Special Mention, and the Bisato d' Oro Award for Best Actress (for Nora Aunor).
The film has also been invited to the 37th Toronto International Film Festival in September and the 17th Busan International Film Festival in October.
