The minimum wage in Poland will be raised from the current PLN 2,250 (EUR 519) to PLN 2,600 (EUR 599) from 2020, up by 15.6%, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said after a government meeting Last September 10. This, after the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) recently launched the “ OFW Help ”, an official Facebook page that allows the OFWs to access the government and request for help during emergency situations, especially when they are being abused or maltreated by their foreign employers. “ OFW Help ” aims to protect the rights of OFWs and promote their welfare.
