The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw wishes to inform the Filipino Community that under the Vienna Convention on consular relations, Filipino nationals have the right to consular access in case they are arrested, or committed to prison or to custody pending trial, or is detained in any other manner by concerned local authorities.
This means that Filipinos who find themselves in any of the above mentioned situations should request local authorities to get in touch with their consular representatives.
The Embassy has a dedicated hotline for this purpose: +48 694 736 488. Filipinos in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are advised to keep this phone number in their address book in case of emergencies.

Nais ipaalam ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Warsaw na ayon sa Vienna Convention on consular relations, ang sino mang pilipino na huhulihin at idedetene ng mga lokal na awtoridad ay may karapatan na humiling ng consular access.
Ibig sabihin nito kung malagay sa ganitong sitwasyon ang sino mang Pilipino, dapat humiling sa mga lokal na awtoridad na matawagan ang inyong consular representatives.
Ang embahada ay may dedikadong hotline para dito: +48 694 736 488. Ang lahat ng mga pilipino na nasa Poland, Estonia, Latvia at Lithuania ay pinapayuhan na ilagay sa kanilang address book ang numerong ito kung kinakailangan sa oras ng kagipitan o emergency.
